  8. This is a Beta Version due to the added DigiBoard Support. All other
  9. functions have been fully tested.  Please see the file BETATEST.DOC for
  10. further information.

  13. DOCUMENTATION CHANGES
  14. ---------------------
  15. All NEW or CHANGED information in the documentation will be preceded by a
  16. Vertical Bar (|).  This should help you to locate new/changed information
  17. more quickly.

  20. UPGRADE TO VERSION 2.13 FROM VERSION 2.1x
  21. -------------------------------------------
  22. 1)  Copy the NEW KTFLEA.EXE file over the OLD.
  23.  
  24. 2)  Delete the file KTFLEA.CFG from your current configuration and type:
  25.  
  26.         KTFLEA SETUP
  27.  
  28.     YOU MUST RUN THE SETUP UTILITY!
  29.  
  30. 3)  Copy the file KTFMLOCK.DBF from the NEW archive to the directory
  31.     which contains your current KT-FleaMarket system.
  32.  
  33. 4)  You must have PKZIP or LHA somewhere in your path!
  34.  
  35. 5)  If you're using KT-FleaMarket under a Multi-Tasking environment,
  36.     change KTFLEA.EXE's Attribute to READ-ONLY by typing:
  37.  
  38.         ATTRIB KTFLEA.EXE +r
  39.  
  40. 6)  If you want a Custom Name and Message to be displayed, see the file
  41.     OPEN.TXT for instructions.

  50. 1)  Copy the following New files to your current KT-FleaMarket directory:
  51.  
  52.         KTFLEA.EXE
  53.         KTFM210.DBF
  54.         KTFMLOCK.DBF
  55.  
  56. 2)  Again, ensure no one is currently logged into the KT-FleaMarket Door on
  57.     another node then issue the command:
  58.  
  59.         KTFLEA UPGRADE
  60.  
  61.     NOTE: ALL the FEATURED Fields will be set to TRUE.

  64. 3)  After the Upgrade is Successful, you may delete the file KTFM210.DBF.
  65.  
  66. 4)  That's it, now READ THE KTFLEA.DOC FILE, THE COMMAND LINE HAS CHANGED!

  75. These instructions will upgrade your current version of KT-FleaMarket to
  76. the new KT-FleaMarket v2.1x.
  77.  
  78. Take a look at the new KTFLEA.CAT file.  This contains a much broader
  79. listing of possible Categories to use with KT-FleaMarket. You might want to
  80. consider incorporating this file into your existing Category file.
  81.  
  82. 1)  Go to the directory which contains your CURRENT KT-FleaMarket System.
  83.  
  84. 2)  Using your favorite Text Editor, read in your CURRENT Category File
  85.     (KTFLEA.CAT).
  86.  
  87. 3)  Remove ALL comments, notes, remarks, etc from your current KTFLEA.CAT
  88.     file.  This includes the instructions that were previously placed in
  89.     the last part of that file with prior versions.
  90.  
  91.     On the very first line (line 1) of your KTFLEA.CAT file, add this:
  92.  
  93.         ALL CATEGORIES;ALL
  94.  
  95.     Be sure to enter it EXACTLY (all caps and semi-colon)!
  96.  
  97. 4)  Save the file (KTFLEA.CAT)
  98.  
  99. 5)  Copy the following NEW v2.0 files into your CURRENT KT-FleaMarket
  100.     Directory:
  101.  
  102.         KTFLEA.EXE
  103.         KTFM210.DBF
  104.         USERHELP.TXT
  105.         LOCAL.BAT
  106.         PURGE.BAT
  107.         PACK.BAT
  108.         MAKETEXT.BAT
  109.         SETUP.BAT
  110.         KTFMLOCK.DBF
  111.  
  112.     Make sure you are still in your CURRENT KT-FleaMarket Directory.

  114. 6)  Again, ensure no one is currently logged into the KT-FleaMarket Door on
  115.     another node then issue the command:
  116.  
  117.         KTFLEA UPGRADE
  118.  
  119.     After the Upgrade is Successful, you may delete the file KTFM200.DBF.
  120.  
  121. 7)  Now go to the SETUP portion of the KTFLEA.DOC file and read on from
  122.     there.  It's very important that you read the new doc's as the system
  123.     has been completely redesigned.
